Kicks 4 Kids is a youth soccer tournament for boys and girls ages 9-19.
The soccer teams are organized as "clubs" similar to little league baseball
teams. Each team pays an entry fee to play a 3-4 games over the weekend.
The 2002 tournament drew over 150 soccer
clubs from 8 states to compete in Hershey, PA on June 15-16. All proceeds
from the tournament will benefit the Hole in The Wall Gang Camps, founded by Phi
Kappa Tau brother Paul Newman.
The tournament is organized and run by the members of The Phi Kappa Tau
Fraternity at Penn State and the Hershey Youth Soccer Association. This year, we will be again reaching out to other east
coast Phi Tau chapters (and alumni) for help.
You don't need to know anything about soccer or about organizing a tournament to
help out. We'll be happy to fill you in with all the necessary details.
If you can volunteer your time for this weekend, or if you have any questions
please contact info@kicks4kids.org
