California

Requirement: In California, wages, with some exceptions, must be paid at least twice during each calendar month on the days designated in advance as regular paydays. The employer must establish a regular payday and is required to post a notice that shows the day, time and location of payment. Labor Code Section 207.
Notice to Kicks 4 Kids Employees:  Kicks 4 Kids will pay employees on a biweekly basis.  Checks will be sent by US mail to the employee's home address.  Checks will be received every-other-Friday.

Requirement:  Inform your employees of their rights under the Unemployment Insurance (UI), State Disability Insurance (SDI), and Paid Family Leave (PFL) programs. This notice must be posted in a prominent location that is easily seen by your employees. 
Notice to Kicks 4 Kids Employees:  The below notices detail your rights under the UI, SDI, and PFL programs.
Notice to Employees (DE 1857A) 

Requirement:  Provide a copy of the following notice to each of your employees when appropriate: Notice to Employees (DE 35) informs employees that their employer is required to send copies of Employee’s Withholding Allowance Certificate to the Franchise Tax Board (FTB) if the certificate meets certain conditions. 
Notice to Kicks 4 Kids Employees:  The below notice informs you that Kicks 4 Kids is required to send copies of your W-4 or DE 4 forms to the FTB if the certificate meets certain conditions.

Requirement:  Provide a copy of the following pamphlets explaining employee benefit rights to each of your employees when appropriate.

For Your Benefit - California’s Programs for the Unemployed (DE 2320) – Provides information on UI, DI, PFL and Job Service benefits available to you.

State Disability Insurance Provisions (DE 2515) – This brochure outlines the SDI program. 

Paid Family Leave (DE 2511) – This brochure outlines the Paid Family Leave insurance program.

OSHA

Requirement:  All employers must post the OSHA Poster (or state plan equivalent) in a prominent location in the workplace.
